The Young Professionals of Augusta will host a charity softball game and concert featuring the “Celebrities of Augusta” on Saturday, July 31at 6pm at Lake Olmstead Stadium. The public is invited to attend to see their favorite celebrities outside of their professions. The concert, featuring Tim Brantley, will be held on the field immediately following the softball game. Tickets are just $15 at the door, with kids 12 and under free. Your purchased ticket will also admit you to the August 5 GreenJackets game free of charge. Proceeds benefit Pediatric Cancer Research.

The Soul City Sirens have defeated the Richland County Regulators for the first time on the track! The Sirens are now 6-0 and gearing up to take on the Lowcountry Highrollers for the second time this season. On August 28, the Sirens will travel to Charleston, SC to defend their season record. Doors open at 6. Festivities begin at 6:30. Tickets are $12 at the door. $8 for active and retired military with an ID. Bring a chair or a blanket because seating is limited.
